Alexander dressed in green for Saint Patrick’s Day today.
He was a wee bit grumpy and would have much rather slept in…So would I to tell the truth, but there were some promises made about leprechauns bringing treats so he agreed to get dressed and go to daycare. Mommy leprechaun picked up Skittles and gummy candies on lunch lol.
Yep it sucks! There is not sugar coating it and it makes being a working mom harder than it already is.
Around the time I stopped posting Alexander had a febrile seizure. A full blown thrashing, choked, and turned blue seizure. My husband had to clear his airway and give him rescue breaths to get him breathing again. He has had six more since.

Alexander has decided that walking Is the way to go. He has not crawled all day. Instead he has been walking and trying to run. After a couple of falls while trying to run he slowed down to a walk again.

I’m not ready, I miss my little baby, but I love watching him grow and become his own person.
Due to everything that has happened in our marriage we have not had a lot of “fun family time”.
I had a mommy moment yesterday evening.
I had taken Alexander to grandma’s house for the weekend. All the way home I missed him more and more, to the point I almost went back to pick him up.
We have a rule that we do not argue or discuss the affair around Alexander. Through a series of events that left us with no sitter Saturday I didn’t get my husbands letter.
During the past months, since I found out about his affair, I have been consistently asking my husband for two things.
